Through our funding from The United Way of Randolph County we offer dental and denture vouchers for adults who meet income guidelines. Call 263-6643 Ext 3008 for more information.
Residents and Non-residents of Randolph County
Once a month dental services are offered through a clinic at the health department for patients needing x-rays services, fillings and simple extractions with Dr John O’Loughlin. Patients 2 years to 21 years of age are accepted based on the following Medicaid plans, MC+, MO Care or Health Care USA. At this time we do not accept straight Medicaid. Patients who need extensive work including root canals, surgical extractions or crowns are referred to Mid-Mo Dental at 1500 Vandiver, Ste 104 Columbia, MO. Call 1-800- 439-7151 for more information on this program.
Education Programs for Schools, Daycares and Pre-schools:
Grants secured through the Missouri Foundation for Health and HRSHA federal grant provide funding for the following programs;
All schools in Randolph County are offered dental screening checkups with the Hygienist or from local dentist who volunteer their time. Call Deanna Tarr at 263-6643 Ext 3015.
Dental checkups, cleanings, and fluoride treatments and Sealants for Head Start participants are provided twice a month by Dental Hygienist, Leanne Block.
Education programs on dental health and tobacco prevention are provided for participants in the Women Infants and Children Nutrition Support Program (WIC).
