Fireworks Safety Month

Here's some safety tips to help keep your celebration safe!

Always have an adult present

Use fireworks outdoors only

Have a bucket of water or garden hose handy

The "shooter" should always wear eye protection and never have any part of the body over the firework.

Never experiment or make your own fireworks

Never carry fireworks in your pocket

Never shoot fireworks in metal or glass containers

Never throw or point fireworks at other people

Never give fireworks to small children

Never re-light a "dud" firework

Dispose of fireworks properly by soaking them in water and then disposing of them in your trashcan
