Two recent samples specific to school curricula are:

1) The CDC has recently issued a report "Guidelines for School Programs To Prevent Skin Cancer" This is available for viewing at their website of: http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/rr5104a1.htm

2) CDC sponsors an annual Disease Detectives event to provide high school students an opportunity to hone their skills as science sleuths by learning the scientific method employed by epidemiologists (disease detectives).
