SARS Health Alert, dated July 8, 2003, time 4:45pm. This health alert incorporates all relevant and current information from previous health alert #43 updated 6/19/03 and replaces HA#42 released 3/17/03. Since the last update (on 6/9/03), new and updated information on availability of diagnostic testing and interpretation of test results has been added. In addition, the section on management of exposures to SARS in healthcare settings has been updated.
