Health Promotions
Health Education Classes: CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), Nutrition Education programs, general health and wellness programs.
Worksite Wellness Programs: Classes are offered on Blood borne Pathogens, CPR, Health & Wellness Fairs. Adult immunizations and hearing tests.
General Health Education and Referral: Access to films and literature though the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services.
Cancer & Wellness Screenings: Provides health screenings for skin & breast cancer, bone density, carotid artery, and lung health. Funded in part by the United Way of Randolph County.
Smokebusters: Mentoring program for school age children focusing on the dangers of using tobacco products. Offered in 17 northeast Missouri counties. Program is funded through the Missouri Foundation for Health.
Counseling: Counseling and referral by licensed Medical Social Workers.
Student Nurses’ Learning Center: Training in public health nursing. Students from the University of Columbia (MU) and the Moberly Area Community College (MACC) are provided opportunities to learn how public health works in a community.
