Janet Murray Receives President's Award from the
Missouri Milk, Food,
and Environmental Health Association
The
President's Award is given to the member or members that have performed
outstanding service for the Association. It is considered to be
one of two most prestigious awards of the Association-the other
being Lifetime Achievement. Janet's service to the Board has been
as an officer, including Secretary, Vice President, President Elect
President, and has been Ex-Officio Advisor for many years. Janet
was the Hospitality chair for 5 years, Newsletter chair and committee
member, Session Chairman, and is currently Chairman of the Missouri
Board of Certification, for which the Association has oversight.
In that position, Janet's Board members and herself were responsible
for the development of the Missouri State Certification Examination,
which is given at MMFEHA conference in the Spring and MEHA conference
in the fall.
